Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), has unveiled a new KrisFlyer award chart, enabling KrisFlyer members to redeem Scoot flights at competitive mileage rates. One-way Economy Class base fare redemptions now start from just 1,500 KrisFlyer miles, offering members more value and flexibility.
Since joining the KrisFlyer programme in 2015, Scoot has steadily expanded its rewards offerings. The newly launched award chart allows members to redeem miles for flights to popular destinations such as Bangkok, Hangzhou, Ipoh, Jeju, Taipei, and Vienna, among others.
Effective immediately, KrisFlyer members can redeem Scoot Saver or Scoot Advantage Economy Class seats on a first-come, first-served basis. Redemptions apply to base fares only, with taxes and optional add-ons—such as baggage or seat upgrades—payable separately via other payment methods. Members can also earn 1 KrisFlyer mile per SGD 1 spent on purchased add-ons for Scoot-operated flights, subject to terms and conditions.
While KrisFlyer members have long been able to pay for Scoot flights partially or entirely with miles, the award chart introduces fixed redemption rates, enhancing transparency and planning. PPS Club, KrisFlyer Elite Gold, and KrisFlyer Elite Silver members will continue to enjoy exclusive benefits when flying with Scoot, including a complimentary 5kg baggage upgrade (with purchase of at least 20kg online), free standard seat selection, and priority boarding. PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold members will also enjoy a one-time waiver on flight change fees.
