Founded in 2014, Plane's Portrait Aviation Media is a Singapore-based social media/website, specializing in Aviation Photography. With a team of photographers & writers, APP's images have been featured by multiple Airlines and Organizations, and we have covered events such as the Singapore Airshow 2018, 2020, 2022, and Singapore Airlines' Boeing 787-10 Delivery Event.

 

Recently, we have also partnered with Scoot in a marketing campaign to introduce their new Airbus A321Neo, as well as work with new Taiwanese carrier Starlux to cover their inaugural service flight to Singapore. 

 

Team APP strives to deliver the best quality and unique images to our viewers and partners, and expand further into the realms of aviation news and articles.

An honours graduate from Lasalle College of the Arts Malcolm learnt to develop his skills in Visual Imagery and in integrating Photography into different mediums and add communicative value in the images he produces. Malcolm worked with various companies before coming out to start off as a freelance Photographer & Social Media Consultant. Besides Aviation, Malcolm is experienced in Architecture and Portraiture photography, as well as Product Photography, working with established brands such as Goldheart Jewelry, avita International and Macallan.

Bryan is a young, energetic and trustworthy photographer. An admirer of military aviation, he has contributed many photographs to his beloved Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). He was amongst a small number of civilians who were specially invited by the RSAF to fly onboard their military aircraft to conduct aerial photography at key events, such as RSAF’s 50th Anniversary and Singapore’s 50th National Day. He maintains close relationships with the RSAF and is their trusted contributor.

Gavin began planespotting in July 2020 using his trusty Olympus EM10 camera. Over the course of the many months of spotting, he has honed his photography and editing skills, drawing inspiration from many other seasoned spotters. In September 2021, Gavin joined the APP team as a writer, capturing aviation news and developments, from Starlux’s inaugural arrival in Singapore, to the 2022 Singapore Airshow.
